Wars and those so-called ‘world leaders’
Today, I watched a drama about war.
My thoughts went to the profound and debilitating effects current wars have on innocent lives, humanity, and economies that many countries' leaders and people took years to build.
My thoughts went to the many sons and fathers who were sacrificed, when the leaders initiating the wars had their sons and fathers well-protected.
What do these leaders learn in school about humanity?
When there is war, the poet lays down the lyre, the lawyer his law reports, the schoolboy his books.

The decision makers who start these unnecessary wars should be sent to the frontlines to fight. That’ll end the wars very quickly!
