Perfection versus excellence II

Perfection versus excellence II

Perfection versus excellence

*******

Scoring an excellence in masters

with a ‘Golden Key award’

yet there were many

edited grammatical errors

in papers submitted, then. 🤔

******

I supposed that was why

perfection was out of reach!

But I am still glad I was

among the  top 15%!

*******

Until I read in a local paper

about a medical professor

who was also

a Golden Key award holder.

It reminded me of the days

when I dreamed of

becoming a professor, too 😞!

But at a time when motherhood,

and family were a priority!

******

Today I hold a title

higher than a professor….

******

Can you guess what it is?

MOTHER is still the prized title!

    1. That was the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy. I went to present a paper to bid for an international Congress to be held in Malaysia.

You’ve had a stellar career, Serena. Even more inspiring because of your caregiver life journey too.
