Keeping my eyes open in class as a student

Keeping my eyes open in class as a student

Yesterday I wrote about ‘Who is sleeping in (my) class?’

But as a student (when I was young, at University) on the receiving end, it is even more challenging!

Especially after a lunch break, when the brain became dull and sleepy!

After a lecture, a few of my classmates approached me.

We saw you shook your head hard a few times. But you definitely, was busy scribbling… non- stop! Can we borrow your notes?”

They did… but not to copy! They photostated!

“… no more energy to copy, la! And, wow! You practically copied everything the lecturer said… every ‘tut’!”

“…tut?”

Ya…’kentut ‘!” I learned a new word that day.

I wrote and scribbled… desperately, to keep myself awake!

Those ‘tut’ were stories and scenarios to describe each example. And, they usually turned up again as scenarios in the examination questions!

Thanks to the ‘tut’!

Hahaha. It is very hard to keep one alert in a big classroom like this. Yes, students and politicians are the two groups of people who have to sit through boring meetings one after another.
