Let the skin breathe!

*******
Those days I used to dread
students lining up
to bade farewell during
their long semester breaks!
The Malay girls, especially,
would kiss the back of my hand…
and then, they would plant
their lipstick kisses on my face
despite my protest!
Worse still, they would press
their cheek ( thick with foundation)
on mine during a hug!
********
I had to wash my face
after they had left for home.
My colleagues exclaimed,
“You washed your face!
So you have to apply foundation
and make-up all over again!”
And I replied that I don’t apply any
make-up foundation on my face!
*********
can cause a phototoxic reaction
or irritate the skin, thus making
melasma (dark patches on face) worse.
Let the skin breathe!
********
heheh, love your sense of humour yeah :))

Women have it a lot harder than us men! I just put a little bit of lotion on my face and sunscreen during summer and that’s it!

Yea, it is a lot easier for men! Nowadays, there are also many vain men who spend just as much on makeup and facials! 🤔

Makeup is wonderful for covering up scars and imperfections. Unfortunately it comes off on other surfaces!

I suppose it is true it can hide other imperfections!

Wonderful advice.

I am fortunate that I don’t need to apply foundation on my face! In fact, my lady friends used to ask me what blusher I used, especially when I entered a room from the hot outside.

Sounds like a lovely natural complexion.
