Is the festival the same time every year? I think I was in CHina during this festival a few years ago. I was taking a train from Beijing and the station was packed. I didn’t get to try a mooncake unfortunately.
Yea, to me, it looks like a dying tradition as compared to my younger days. Maybe a more commercialised celebration.. amazingly beautifully crafted mooncake boxes, more varieties of moon cakes. Thank you for looking up in Google.
Children will have a lot of fun carrying lanterns in rural areas… there will be a lot of decorations of lanterns and moon cakes in shopping complexes in urban areas. Is it the same in Western countries with less Chinese?

Just looked it up since I am not sure. It is celebrated in New York City, California, and Washington, DC according to Google.

He likes just the plain one. Probably a texture and smell thing.
We have a vibrant Asian community here so itās a big deal over here. Mooncakes everywhere in the Chinese groceries right now.
