When privacy is getting the ‘essence’ of the matter(s)

When privacy is getting the ‘essence’ of the matter(s)

****

Do you get

what one is trying to tell you?

… the essence of the matter?

****

Do you see

what one is trying to show you?

…the shadow of the matter?

****
So you learn about an idea

and you learn about a story

*****

…. although you don’t get

to see the real matter(s) within,

…cos one mixes the matters

within one’s pot of privacy.

****

That is sharing

while maintaining privacy.

Privacy is not an option, and it shouldn’t be the price we accept for just getting on the internet .

Gary Kovacs

“In the olden times, privacy was good. Today people want to share, people are more open.

Mark Zuckerberg

  1. At the very least, informed consent should be required before anyone waives rights to privacy, no matter who thinks openness is good for us.

  2. Sometimes I feel like there is a bit too much oversharing on social media. Over time, I’ve shared less and less.
