Goat milk for baby…

Fortunately we have human milk banks nowadays!
****
…The processing cost of donor breast milk is modest in comparison with the cost of managing a single case of NEC or short bowel syndrome secondary to NEC. Therefore, even a small reduction in gastrointestinal complications with increased human breast milk use could recover operation costs of milk banking. There is evidence supporting the cost effectiveness of using donor human breast milk by reducing the length of stay, sepsis and NEC in sick hospitalized neonates…
I have wondered why more people don’t try goat’s milk given the formula shortage in the US.

Yea, since you mentioned it. I wonder, too. Why cow milk are on the shelves, and not goat milk?

Oh my goodness! I’m not sure how I feel about this photo. Looks a bit silly! 😆 I’m definitely not taking the milk from the grocery store for granted!

Babies, whose mother died during delivery or can’t breast feed them for some reason, need other options. Cow’s milk, goat’s milk, canned milk .. Of course mum milk is still the best!
