Are you throwing oranges this Chap Goh Mei?
In the olden days, single ladies will toss oranges into the river on Chap Goh Mei, Chinese Valentine day. This is on the fifteenth and the last day of Chinese new year. Men would be scooping them to make contact with these ladies.
In this age, someone should be creating a ‘virtual river’ instead!

The other siblings seem to have outgrown this habit of greeting!
He opened the passenger car door to meticulously push in the skirt of umbrella caught between the closed car door earlier.
What do you like more, “the music or the drive”? “Both”
So we drove on leisurely, I came down to take a shot or two:- see the reflections on the ground? see the bicycles for rent? see iconic twin-towers and library in the background?
Music and leisure driving,. can be therapeutic, indeed!

The playground is still well kept. Have the children grown too big for these swings and see-saw? Or is it the post pandemic thawing period?
