A Hindu or a Hindi song?

My daughter ( in black sari) joining an Indian dance

A few days ago, I joined a fellow Chinese singer in an adventurous singing duet for a Hindu song ” Yeh Kya Huwa” (and I was corrected that it is a Hindi song because Hindu is a religion).

    Yes, Hindu is a religion, and Hindi is the language. ‘Yeh Kya Huwa’ is indeed a Hindi song.
