Of books and a phone

******

“I kept always two books in my pocket, one to read, one to write in.”

Robert Louis Stevenson

Nowadays, many read from phones and jot down notes into the phone, too!

I do, do you?

I both read and write on my phone, but I also read and write off my phone. I write in notebooks and stuff and I read physical books, but sometimes depending on where I am or what time it is its a lot more conventient to do both on my phone. Plus if I take notes in OneNote on my phone I can easily search through my notes for specific keywords

  3. I do read and write on my phone, but only blogs and messaging people. My shopping lists are on paper, I have a little paper notebook to write in when I’m out.

  5. I use my phone for a lot of things. Taking notes. Reading and researching information. A phone is very compact.

I definitely live and can’t live without my phone. But there is something wonderful about reading and writing in an analog book.

My one finger typing is too laborious for much phone typing unless that’s my only option. I also prefer paper books even though they are heavier and bulkier.

I have to swipe too often on my phone and don’t care for it.

Not that I’m aware of. I thought it was just a spelling difference like tire and tyre.

I just looked it and saw is a different form of typing where people do not have to lift their fingers like they do in tap typing. In my case, I am swiping my screen to be able to read more the text than can be shown at one time. I tap typing which is laborious with just one finger on a cellphone keyboard.
