They come to break the cancer news
decision over treatments, I muse
with meditative prayers and cues.

Vegetarian I am on Fridays
Feeling dispirited, in malaise
At times, in denial, fiercely ablaze.

In your hand I take it all in a stride
though tears came and dried
this journey I will take under your guide.
